I'd guess you should post this elsewhere, BUT here's my answer: You're going to be able to get more acceleration/whippiness/topspin, but you're also going to have a longer swing to the ball (taking away a little bit of time), and less stability (so when you play with someone who hits a hard or heavy ball, you'll likely not have as great control with the racket face), probably not the most driving slices or volleys, perhaps a more difficult time changing from one grip to another (which you would do to switch from say a serve to a forehand to a backhand to a slice to a volley, etc. ). The drawbacks outnumber the benefits, I'd say. That being said, it's great to hold the grip as loosely as you can, but I'd definitely start getting most of my hand on the grip.

Il est d'ailleurs à noter que Charlton Heston est ici très bien dans un rôle (son meilleur? ) improbable de policier mexicain droit, qui doit affronter le policier pourri et atroce interprété par Orson Welles avec une délectation certaine. Ensuite la mise en scène est encore et toujours impressionnante avec ses cadrages obliques, ses contre-plongées, ses mouvements de grue et son plan séquence introductif, cette exploitation permanente de la profondeur de champ et de la composition du cadre, bref un vrai catalogue pour apprenti metteur en scène. Ceci étant dit, nous restons toujours à la périphérie du film et n'éprouvons aucune empathie pour aucun des personnages si ce n'est peut-être pour ce pauvre Charlton Heston qui essaie de rester dans le rationnel et la droiture, voire pour Janet Leigh qui est le seul personnage innocent de cette histoire.
